The 2017 Rooftop Festival with Share Companies and Organizations began on September 20.
The space of a rooftop—are you familiar with them?
The “2017 Rooftop Festival” is part of Seoul City’s Sharing Program, which recreates closed and unused spaces into a rest area for its citizens.
The Rooftop Festival will be held from September 20 to October 2018 at the rooftops of Seoul Metropolitan Library, Eunpyeong-Gu Sharing Center, Seoul Museum of Art, and Seoul Start Up Hub. For more information, you may visit http://www.ishareu.co.kr/.
On its first day, September 20, flow yoga, rooftop library, traveler’s book club, and busking concerts were held at the Seoul Metropolitan Library, and a rooftop party was held at the Eunpyeong-Gu Sharing Center to share the autumn sky.
For October 15, there will a rooftop Zumba dance, rooftop comic book store, rooftop art garden, healing talk, rooftop film festival, and busking concert on the Seun Sangga rooftop. We look forward to seeing you there.
We’re opening the rooftop of public buildings in Seoul, which were strictly closed beforehand, to the citizens.
Come and enjoy a cultural playground under the sky, a rest note in your daily routine — drop by the Rooftop Festivals!
